An interactive virtual room that allows users to explore what happens when image recognition algorithms fail. It is a categorically organised collection of photography and art Tumblr’s algorithms wrongfully defined as adult content and consequently banned.

Supported by information provided by Google Images’ analysis of the content, it shows the varying results different algorithms may produce. The virtual room aims to engage the user in critical analysis of the wide use of image recognition in society through interactive exploration and education – while questioning how we define ‘adult content’ and why.
